WHO IS RYAN CHARLES JACOB?
Actor, Scenographer and LGBTQ+ Activist
Ryan is a 26 year old Seahorse dad and Creative based in Manchester - he is an Actor, Director, Set Designer, Technician and all around Theatre Maker. Ryan has spent time learning his craft under the guidance of industry professionals at Staffordshire University, he is the founder of his theatre company Shakesqueer where he helps to create queer adaptations of Shakespeare's classics.
As a transgender activist, Ryan has spoken at events both private and public, including Birmingham Pride, Seahorse Film Q&A and for a live Q&A session worldwide for a large corporation. His passion is the LGBTQ+ community, because of this he is actively visible as a trans man to be a beacon of hope to the younger generations within the community. He has also helped to create online content for the Baby Buddy App on being a transgender parent.
